My vacations usually involve living out of a tent and no cell service. My husband and I dream of buying more land, so our vacation without the extended family will be driving through rural part of the US trying to figure out where we could potentially relocate, probably Montana. Everyone else lives east and likes things like air conditioning and housekeeping service and cable TV.

I've been banned for refusing to let an admin dictate who my Facebook friends are. They'd banned someone for complaining on the board about how the site was administered and I was subsequently banned by association. Yes, really. And no, their site had nothing to do with Facebook, it was purely a creep-fest driven by wounded pride. Some folks really are that kooky.

Montana???? Check out the taxes and crime up there.....then compare Wyoming. We have a sales tax. That's it. They tax everything from flies' wings to income, but don't have a sales tax. I'll pay sales tax and keep the rest of my money, thanks! And we have THIS:

have you ever had issues with the blue stuff in the thermometer like seperating? I'm curious as I figured out why my 10 egger bator was all messed up with temp and that was the issue.

I have the brinesea octagon 20 (x-mas gift from my wonderful chicken-enabling husband) so I think the thermometer is different. I've had very good hatches with it,

@Blooie I would love to chat with you more about Wyoming. We drove across Wyoming last September. We love the parts near the mountains, and could do without the desert plains (much like Colorado). Wyoming is definitely a possibility as well. I did not know about the taxes, good info.

When I started @ post 1, there was only low 30's. When I got to the low 30's, there was about 45 pages! I was running up hill, full blast to keep up with the bus!
