That's exactly what I was going to say...One of many animal pet peeves.
I do like cats but I’m very allergic. We take in strays but they have to live outdoors only.
A future vet who’s allergic to cats.. hmm.
Here has three million nicknames already! I think his starting to answer to "drop that!". I tend to call him either Sabi or Flatface.

There’s nothing that ticks me off faster than sweating in the heat for hours outside, and then having an unsolicited advisor come out from the air conditioned house to “show you how to do it properly.”

Oh I wish I had that...We must get these things done!!! I've recently enjoyed building things. Currently planning and drawing out my goat barn, beginning construction late this summer in hopes of having goats this coming spring.
The greenhouse project was really fun this year and I learned a lot about proper framing and always carrying a freaking pencil. Shortcuts are bad... He's German - NO SHORTCUTS. Do it right.
This is why I'm good for the manual labor part. I can rip, dig, destroy, pull, cut, tear, level and then he can come in and tell me how I can help with the finer details.
The man just leaves me to my own devices. Brings me water and such. Reminds me that it's been five hours, blah, blah, blah.
