➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Hey y'all I'm not home and I'm getting reports that a banty chick is fading fast.
They have tried ND but still nothing. What else should they do?
Chick is 2 days old. Any chance it can hold out until I get home tomorrow morning?

Imo you wouldn't really want that in your breeding program anyway it could/would only bring possible negativities not in the best interest of the breed

So sorry you are having problems. :hugs Hope all works out for the best.

I have to agree with @sdm111
I'm not so sure I think it's a good idea to try to save it.
Although if Nutri-Drench isn't helping then I don't think anything else will.
Sorry.

I was thinking the same thing.
I am going to let it go because I don't want to breed it.

Thanks.
You can always tell me what you believe is right :)

I missed what happened to it? Rough incubation?
I don’t think all weak chicks turn out to be bad breeders. Depends on the circumstances, so I won’t agree or disagree.

I'm unsure of incubation conditions. I was not there.
I know lockdown was on the cool side.
This chick was assisted.
