I love fish tanks!!

Me too! I wanted to do a biotope where everything was all native to the same river system all the way down to the plants but that gets expensive and it's hard to find fish like that. I'm very happy with what I settled on and hand the lighting is right it's really beautiful.

Diagreeing is one thing but when the ugly rude posts start happening they shut them down usually pretty quick.

Doors are off setup bc they're getting a makeover, and one light is out of the right side of the tank. But most of these fish in this aquarium are at least 4 years old. Some older than that. The tank decor gets tweaked and changed on the reg but these fish have been with us for so long! Can fish be like family?

I've had bettas before, mostly as a kid so not very well taken care of sadly but i did have one in a gorgeous planted 10 gallon tank for like a year or two but then he died

I have 4 goldfish now but I need to buy a bigger tank or build a pond but am thinking of selling them because the maintenance on fish tanks is a bit much.

Oh trust me, I didn’t at first either! I figured out that I have to do short study sessions, create notecards to quiz myself. Then I started doing really well on my tests. Once you get the first few tests done then you’ll be able to figure out how to study for you. Everyone is different. Another thing to add, most professors will drop the lowest exam grade as long as you take the final (some will drop it anyways without the final even being taken). College is not insanely difficult like everyone claims it to be.

I would argue that the beginning of college is not insanely difficult. History, English, trig, all those basics are a walk in the park. It’s when you get to organic chemistry and microbiology that sh** starts getting real, and that’s all still in community college.
I’d say if someone can’t keep up with highschool or early community college stages (at that point your study skills should be well and truly developed), it won’t go well once you get 2-3 years in, let alone vet school when the real work begins. A&M’s average (2017) vet school acceptance GPA for non-residents is a 3.87, that’s not a lot of wiggle room. It’s easier to get into human medical school.

But I will agree, more than half the battle of college is just figuring out how your brain takes in information best and keeping up with motivation.
Not that I think you don’t know all that, Prairie.
It’s a marathon, not a sprint.. I’ve just seen too many friends/acquaintances set themselves up for failure by talking themselves into the “college is so easy” mentality. They don’t last.

I've got an 18 month old leghorn that just stands in the nest box. Pale comb. Not acting right. Walking slow. Nothing hard in the abdomen that I can feel and her keel is more pronounced than it should be. She is eating, obviously not enough. No mites. Any ideas? Haven't wormed them. I'll see if she will eat some crushed red pepper. The other 5 acting normal. Broody is fluffed as normal.

EYP? I don't know. I sell most of mine before they can die of egg laying complications.

FWIW I was very surprised at how long it took me to get over sore concert throat last time. I also thought I had strep or mono but it passed within a week.
