Aww! My hens always peck at my shoes when I go in their cage. I have a hen with a few white feathers on her wings as well.

80! They would already be dead here.

I think they should be ok, the main thing is not to have extreme temperature swings where they can't regulate their temperature correctly. Wild quail are out in the weather and they do ok without A/C.

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate broodies??!? We were finally catching back up on our orders but every single time one goes broody, or in my case two every time, all the hens stop laying.
