I have no idea. I will give her a water dish in an hour and see what happens.

Found one of these the other day under a duck. Not only is the air cell on the side of the egg, the egg is long and pointy. I'll get pictures of it.

Do you think that hurts the eggs or are you saying it just because the build up can get the bator nasty?

I think hard water will destroy your bator, thermometers, and hygrometers. Well water might have bacteria, which I think could harm the eggs.
