Thanks Banty! I saw in that same thread that old almanacs (I think is where they said it came from) used to suggest throwing rusting horseshoes into chicken water for beneficial reasons. Not sure about this one but thought it was kind of funny.

There are small hoses in most toilet tanks, small but maybe too big tubes in under counter soap dispensers, maybe shrink tubing used around electrical connections...

Soap dispenser tube might be perfect! Just make sure to dull the tip! Good one!
