Nose butter or bag balm will clear that up in a day or two. French mastiffs frequently get this real bad where it looks cracked.

No need to get all three. If you get some, get the gluconate and the citrate, those are good to have in your kit. If you use the gluconate refrigerate after opening because it will grow mold if you don't.
