➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Cali people most definately do not know what cold is.
I heard some cali folks complaining about freezing in 50°F weather while I was working outside in -20°F.
:gig
California is an odd place. There is a place on highway 80 called Truckee that is often the coldest place in the US. Go South 500 miles and you area at a place that is often the hottest place in the US. Go a 200 miles or so West of Truckee and you come to a place where people die Abolone hunting in the surf!

It is very hard to box California in!

Ok so if you have a Pyrex bowl like this maybe it could cover your hole, help retain heat, and provide a viewing window.

Because you live somewhere hot, I like to think you have one of these knocking about for when the power goes out and I feel like this could be a good little fan for your ghetto bator.

Duck eggs actually taste really great. They are AWESOME for baking!!!! I prefer duck eggs and goat milk to chicken and regular moo cow milk whenever I bake!!!!
I see some confusion from folks hopping in towards the end, but the whole thing started here...

When I was going to taste test the my first duck egg and @KikisGirls quickly jumped on board and said she would try a duck egg too. So if any of you would like to jump on board with the taste test experiment while waiting for Kiki's balut eggs to hatch it would be fun ;)
