Making cranberry bread, although I probably put wayyy too many cranberries in (the whole bag ) but oh well. It does say 1 1/2 cups and the bag is 12 oz but then the serving size says a serving is 1 cup and there's like 3 1/2 servings in it but I figure more cranberries can't hurt and what am I gonna do with an open half a bag of cranberries? Probably should have doubled the recipe and made 2 loaves considering there's barely any bread between all those cranberries but oh well. Also added a bit more orange peel than it said just cause I had grated a little more by accident and figured I'd just use it up. Not sure how it will taste. May be too citrusy with the orange juice and orange peel but we'll see. If it IS too citrusy then next time I might just use water. But we'll see. And I omitted the nuts. No one here really likes those.

Your are quite the chef miss thang.
You like to play in the kitchen don't you? Maybe you should think about becoming a baker or something similar.

That sucks. Probably not enough sweet tea in your system. You have to keep your sweet tea levels up, not only does that not leave enough room in your blood stream for viruses, but it also lets the virus know your southern and not one of those pesky pop drinking northerners.
The rest of your blood stream should be butter to make your blood too slippery for any illness to latch on properly.
This is, by far, the best health advice that I have ever heard. EVER.

You could possibly put some Neosporin or Vetericyn or something on it too so it doesn't get infected. If you do use Neosporin/antibiotic ointment make sure it's the kind without pain relief, I think it's got something in it that's bad for them.
I have a generic triple antibiotic oitment. It doesn't say pain relief on it, but what is the ingredient(s) I should be avoiding.
Probably a good idea to do so for at least a few days. You don't want the others to start oecking at the wound. That would be bad.
She has Blu-Kote on her. Should I be concerned about her picking at herself? She can reach the wound. This is a very small hen (Leghorn x) should I worry about her getting cold or going into shock for whatever reason?

Both have heat available to them just in case. One of the hens who was attacked is a broody who was kicked outside because I don't want her to brood.

what am I gonna do with an open half a bag of cranberries?

Homemade cranberry sauce. Cranberry salad. Dehydrated cranberries for salad & muffins. Chicken food. Should I continue? :)

I should make cranberry sauce. Turned out SO much better than the canned "high fructose corn syrup" stuff. Between the cinnamon, cloves, brown sugar and the heavenly smell while simmering, it was delightful. And we didn't have any leftover. Made more for Christmas feast and it went very well with ham.

Are you home yet?
How is she acting?
