Also then hen with the bite wound has a bald spot now. I'm thinking I should get her a hen saddle to prevent her skin from getting frostbitten before the feathers grow back.

Lol no. She just walked away quickly.
In the end my 6'5" dad had to reach in and catch her because my arms weren't long enough.
