➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Ordered a skijoring line and skijoring belt from Howling Dog Alaska cause they had a 20% sale today. I would have ordered a harness too but 1. I didn’t want to spend that much at once, even though I will have to buy one eventually, and 2. I wanted to measure her first. Based on weight, I’m pretty sure she will be an XL but I’m not entirely sure and sometimes some things can run slightly small there plus I’m kinda OCD so I wanna like measure and be 100% sure haha but since I already have an order in, I’m not going to like measure and order it immediately and pay shipping twice, that’s dumb, so I’m gonna wait until we’re ready. Gonna practice the basic commands first. Plus she’s still only a year old (will be the 15th) and could grow some more by next year so I’d rather wait and see. But I’ll work on training her and Franklin. For now I can use collars and/or their old walking harnesses. These are the products. Eventually I want to get the two dog line and possibly the pro belt and/or pro line (quick release clip). And the Distance Dog or Second Skin harnesses.

Getting ten huge loads of fill dirt and top soil this week to make a better road across a 40 acre pasture. Already have the two tin horns in place. This front pasture receives a lot of run-off from the highway. That fills a pond but also makes really wet sections, thus the need for the road improvement.
See the dentist today.

Last December we were scrambling to plan our wedding in a very short and stressful amount of time. This December we’re moving at the drop of a hat.
I guess we just like leaving things to the last minute.
How else are you supposed to do things?? I thrive on those last minute decisions.

Goodday all! :)
I moved my 4 babies into the garage Sunday (for quarantine and because I'm sick of house chickens)
They have been getting down to 35ish at night but are doing fine with a ceramic heater. I gave them a big container of grit yesterday.
They are 7 and 10 weeks now, do y'all think they can handle scratch grain as a treat??
