➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Well, I'll be damned. My boy looks an awful lot like that Beauceron. He's just leaner and brown and tan instead of black and tan. He looks mainly dobie to me, but has something else tossed in there. Probably mutt or something ... View attachment 1632516

Nah it’s for the college. I’m only doing this job so that way I can get my foot in the door at a vet’s office. Currently none will even offer me a shadow or volunteer position since I don’t have any “work experience” but I have tons of volunteering experience. :barnie

I personally would. Can you ask whatever breeder you use to not do your puppy?

I’m not sure. I would think not as they typically remove them at like 3 days old and would have no way of knowing which puppy was yours yet until temperament tests, structure evalutations, etc. at 7 or 8 weeks, maybe 6, so they would have to keep the dew claws on every puppy. I may ask anyway though, maybe show them those videos. Or find a breeder that leaves them on.

Ohhh I thought that you had reserved a puppy. I guess I’m just used to people wanting a specific color/sex/size from the litter. Makes more sense to find a breeder that doesn’t then.

I would love to have at least 10 acres but unless you want to pay over half a million for a beat up trailer house on 6 acres then it's pretty much going to stay a dream. :(
I only paid $224k for 99 acres with a utility trailer. No water or power though. 60 acres of hay, the rest wooded.
