I tried a purple sprouting broccoli two years ago. It was incredible. Overwintered and first to produce lovely purple sprouts til summer sent it to seed. Very prolific and impressive flavor. I'm kicking myself for forgetting about it and not planting one for this year.

We want to do pumpkins too, since last year no stores even had ANY to buy.

I ended up crying because of how stupid that day was. It was Halloween, and the day that Ditzy was killed by a hawk. Definitely my worst Halloween by far.
