I might have thrown and broke a few old school cordless phones back in the day.
I'd never throw a cell phone though...they are too expensive to replace.

Throwing pillows or anything soft suffices. Muffled screaming tends to help too.

You realize that red bell peppers are simply green bell peppers that are actually ripe?

Anyone here ever grow asparagus?

Yep! My patch is more than 20 years old and a second patch is growing in the lawn from moving dirt from the garden to there. The seeds sprouted and are doing well enough that I can harvest them now.

Yes. I like them at that point because they are sweeter. I love them in my salad. Or just as something to munch on. My dogs love them too.

The problem with growing asparagus is waiting until the bed is well enough established to support harvesting it. Choose the site for your asparagus bed well because that is where it is going to stay. If I remember correctly, you can start harvesting it the third year. It is imperative to let it go to seed every year. You can kill a bed of asparagus off by over harvesting it or harvesting before the bed is sufficiently established.
