Too small for just a few duckies?

Nahhh, too small for the goldfish and therefore perfect for the duckies and it actually would probably be plenty big for the fish, it’s quite huge, but I want something bigger lol

Through a run!? That must have been awful and tragic mine was my favorite hen and she went broody a lot but I didn’t care, she was so sweet and gentle and kind. I get too attached. They all have names lol but I only have 7 (was 8) so they are all pets.

Dogloo. Frame a door and add hardware cloth for ventilation. Pop a bolt through the back and bungee the door on at night. I did this for a trio and it worked like a charm. DUCKS.

Wow that is actually an amazing and easy idea!! I just figured they needed more room. And actually I have another idea. We have this old wooden dog house that has been on the property since we moved here and probably before that, it is like a mini version of our house lol same color and shingles and stuff and is maybe 4x4, mini house lol and no one uses it anymore except to store a bunch of random junk, all of which we could and should either throw away or store elsewhere. I was thinking of using it as a garden shed but maybe I should use it for DUCKS! Now, granted, it is in pretty rough shape, needs a new floor, and maybe a bit of touching up on the roof/framing, but we also happen to have a couple spare pieces of plywood perfect for replacing the floor and possibly even enough wood for replacing the roof as I am sure we have extra shingles somewhere. Slap some vinyl or linoleum sheeting on the floor and WHAM lol this is all sounding quite perfect and a bit too coincidental to not get DUCKS... now granted, this dog house it a bit too close to the chickens, especially once we expand the run, it is next to them, and idk if the dog house would survive a move, but maybe that doesn’t matter! And do they need a run? Because the door is also facing the wrong way to attach one. But said dog house also has a large front door, a rear window, and the eaves under the roof are open, so perfect for ventilation. We have plenty of spare hardware cloth.

Thinking Black Swedish and Golden 300 Hybrid Layer females and Welsh Harlequin male and female from Metzer Farms. But then my family is kind of iffy/weird about eating fertilized eggs lol also females are really loud, right? So then I was kinda thinking a pair of males, Black Swedish and Welsh Harlequin. But then I kinda wanna try duck eggs cause I keep hearing how delicious they are. So idk. Lol

Or just no ducks. No. Nope. Cannot. Am def adding more chickens. Cannot add chickens AND ducks. No. But then again.... webbies. Cute. Adorable. Love water. Hilarious and fun to watch swim/dive in water and have fun unlike my mini velociraptors who just run around squawking and clucking and dust bathing and stealing food.
