cat died last summer. within a week the chipmunks and voles took over the garden.
This fall the mice moved in parents old house. The teenages were sitting on the counter watching me on the computer. Easy chicken feed. Caught a few in bucket trap and a few in snap traps... When it got in the single digits, I figured they were not going outside and I put poison out.. no signs of mice now.... dog will try to kill but not eat them... of course this means even though I picked up the bait, I am not going to feed any house mice to the chickens just in case.

One year I bought oat hay. I never saw anything so infested with mice. I put poison out in the barn and within a day I started seeing dead mice everywhere. The neighborhood cats had a hay day cleaning up the carcasses that were outside the barn. I never saw any evidence of any of the cats getting sick from eating the poisoned mice. Of course that was the good stuff that has since been banned. I don't know whether you can trust the new poisons or if they might be harmful to other critters.

I have a list, somewhere, of how poisonous the different types are for secondary poisoning.... I used what I had from before chickens

I don't give concerts, silly. I sing to them sometimes because it calms them down when they're hyper or scared. Animals like singing, as long as it's not too high or too low. The ducks like hymns.

Oh wow that is really shady then!! Forgot you had said they were on duty. If they were supposed to be on patrol then that is really weird! Even if it actually was a game they are clearly not very good cops if they are drinking and/or doing drugs on duty! Ha what the heck. And then I think you are right that it was murder because I doubt any cop would actually be stupid enough to play that game?

Haven’t flossed or used mouthwash in forever. I normally just brush* but I accidentally read about gum disease earlier today and I am NOT about to get any gum diseases

Also I need to start flossing more cause the amount of shit you can get out from your teeth even AFTER brushing is honestly disgusting.

Also my mouth now feels minty fresh and super duper clean so there’s that





*let’s be real here, I don’t always brush every day either and have been know to occasionally go a couple weeks if I forget usually it is much much shorter than that lately but I often only brush if I am going somewhere but since I have been having more places to go and things to do lately as well as being in a better mental state, I have been brushing more frequently, but if I don’t have anywhere to be sometimes I don’t or just plain forget. And I have been known to forget showering too sometimes for days or a week at most again, much better lately and been showering way more frequently but my self care is definitely NOT the best..... but I have been trying to be better about it lately. But also even when I do brush, I usually do it once in the morning and/or before I go wherever I go and all my sugar food crap sits in my mouth overnight But we start being on me about that more so than cleaning or other such dumb stuff? Okay, that stuff is not dumb, but I want to focus on health/self care and better eating and sleep habits first and I think once I do that I will feel way way better and maybe be in a better place to be able to clean lol but I do not want to get gum disease or be smelly lol so pleaseeeee be on me about that too? And WOW. Did not mean to type a whole entire paragraph in this tiny print lol I can and will enlarge for anyone who cannot read this entire thing in this small of print. Which is likely everyone. Lol whoops sorry.

If your really craving something sweet, I recommend getting some of the miracle berry tablets from Amazon. They make bitter and sour things taste sweet. Limes taste amazing! Put a little bit of lime juice in unflavored seltzer for the best soda ever. Very yum. It works by binding to your taste buds and highjacking everything to the sweet flavor. It breaks down when you eat something hot so when you want to go back to normal just swish some warm water. Otherwise the effects last 15 min to 2 hrs depending on which kind you get or how much you take.
The ingredients are just the berry and cornstarch.

What are the fritters?

Aubergine is eggplant.
(I like the long slender variety because the slices are smaller disks....bigger ones can be quartered.)
Wash, top and tail the aubergine. Thinly slice.
Make a medium thick batter by mixing the spices and flour and masala with a little water.
Heat oil in a pan. Dip the slices in the batter and fry until aubergine is tender and the crust is browned.

• vegetable oil or corn oil
• 1 large aubergine
• 1 heaped cup of graham cracker flour
• 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp cumin
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1tsp garam masala
