Duck eggs laid in the pond will not hatch. I've seen a couple on the banks that have been broken/eaten. Will be interesting to see if I can ever gather enough of my own to hatch.

Ohhhhh. My dogs wander all over. Well one goes and visits across the road while the other won’t leave past the chicken coop.

We don't eat many hotdogs...staying away from most processed meats. We will eat all beef hotdogs with chili, onions, mustard, Jalapenos and cheese.

Super cold here today with 4 degree windchill, 1 inch of snow (thankfully!), some glazed ice and 50 mph wind gusts. Baby chicks are hatching in the henhouse where water tubs are freezing even with a 100 watt bulb above the area. Moved two chicks already from under the hen to the hatcher in the house. She will have a staggered hatch over the next several days because other hens gave her eggs during her brood time.
