I don't understand how someone could have a house duck.
I can't imagine how many times they have to clean up poop each hour.

We are still laughing at it.
Quail poop and duck poop are very different.I mean, you also change the quail’s paper towels every 15 minutes soooo....
But seriously that is disgusting. LOL
I respectfully disagree, though your argument is sound if you don't have the right setup and are comparing them to chickens. If you brood ducklings outside, a secure grow out pen, and have a good landscape for them (say, a little creek and pond), they are the easiest animals ever. I also love how much they poop. I clean out their pen every spring and apply all that good stuff directly to my garden. Their poo isn't hot like chickens so you don't need to compost it for a year before using. Plus, I've literally NEVER lost one to illness. Not one. Not even a duckling.Don’t get them. I promise you, the mess they make isn’t worth it. Plus the cuteness wears off quickly after they start getting bigger. Same goes for geese.
Ah, yes. The great mindsGet ducks. They're only a pain if your setup is wrong and/or if you're insane enough to keep them in the great white north.![]()
It's truly hilarious. You should get a wig of that nature and be Carrot Top for Halloween. What an inspiration to us all!I sent it out in a mass family test message.
