➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

They are so wittle! :love I have a couple that try to zoom across the brooder. Vroom! Is too funny. LOL! One already jumped on top of the heat plate which I was like, AHH! Get down from there or you're going to hurt your little legs! :barnie But I am so glad to see them darting to and fro, eating, drinking and being so active. Is a nice sign. I'll relax after a couple days tho. :woot
Yes, mother. We will be good. PEEP!

Congratulations on the little ones. May they all be hens.

Animals really are great motivation:highfive:

Yes! They really are!! Just ran again right after our big regular walk LOL this time though I only did it with one dog. Yesterday I took them both separately but did less running with one cause he’s younger. Today I just did it with the older one. One because I was really tired after running twice yesterday and two because he is young still and really probably should not be running on pavement. The older one is probably a little young still too so next time I think I may find some grass or just zoom around the yard LOL but I want to start exercising more/running anyway so I figure by taking the dog it is good motivation lol and it tires her out. She is pretty high energy. My knees hurt soooo bad though LOL

Oh neat! I wish we had a dog I could run with, but we just have a cat and chickens, neither of which make great running buddies. Ouch! Knee pain is no joke :sick

Looks like Our Texas folks are getting the rain too!
We had hours of drizzle and light showers yesterday and heavy rain again this morning. I was able to get out Monday to work some on dismantling the small breed pens. I got a lot done.
Hubby has a dr. appt. today so will work on the pens when we get back...hopefully the rain will be gone...but high winds today and tomorrow. :barnie

Even with no set breed pens, I'm hatching a few at a time. I have older chicks to take to the barn, chicks to move to the hot tub room and chicks to take out of the hatcher.

I plan to candle the 51 duck eggs this evening...will try to get some pictures.
Tornado sirens, no power.. it was a fun long morning.

They are my brother and his fiancé’s dogs but I walk them a twice a week, sometimes more, so I figured I would start running them too lol I actually just got them harnesses for skijoring and wanted to test them out lol and oh wow! Yeah, those definitely would not make good running buddies :lau my last dog didn’t either though, he was so lazy lol And yeah! It sucks. But thankfully it goes away pretty quickly. I mean, not super quick, but when I sit down for a while it’s good. But it’s superrrr painful until then. And of course makes everything getting in and out of the car, sitting, stairs, etc. hard lol

Yesterday it was sunny and 53°F. Today it was this.

The pictures that you take are really spectacular. I really enjoy seeing them. Except the one of the snow. I don't want to see any more snow. :gig
