I'm in Texas.I just use the cap from a 2 liter bottle. It does not need to be any bigger.
Bigger is better here.

For real though I really didn't know that a pinch of salt would actually work.
It isn't a pinch of salt, it's about a teaspoon. You just want it moist and not swimming in water. You are only establishing the humidity in a small container not a very big area. For real though I really didn't know that a pinch of salt would actually work.
X2 sometimes!
A bottle cap will work just fine, I've done the half cup salt and the bottle cap...can't tell any difference between the two.I'm afraid a milk jug cap is not big enough
Use a measuring cup or a dish close to one cup size.
Use a half cup of salt and a little water.
Looking good!
Will these be breeding coops?
Are you covering them?
Yes I think I would put them both in the same container. Thanks everyone. I was gonna use a bigger container but it wouldn’t fit in the small bags and plus someone had just told me to use a milk cap earlier so I’m like well I guess I’ll just use that then. Most of what I had read and seen pictures of were bigger containers but I figured it would be okay. Will try more salt and also a bigger/more airtight container to put them in. And should I put them in the same one? My dad thought I should/asked why I didn’t earlier and I thought that was a good point. Like for more accurate comparisons?? Same exact conditions??? Should I?? Thanks. And Kiki, Iat that Texas thing.
