And I never thought I had allergies but whenever I take Claritin or an allergy med I do feel better and not all irritated so I guess maybe I do lol

You've commented about allergies quite a bit for you not to think you have allergies
I just think you are so used to dealing with them that it's become commonplace and easy to not think about them until they are really bad (or you forget to take medicine). Didn't you mention one time that you did allergy testing and found out that you had a slight allergy to cats? Or am I remembering wrong and it was a dif person (which is very possible lol)?

Well, that should have said I didn’t used to think I had allergies but lately (like past several months to a year) I’ve figured out I probably do lol and yeah, that could definitely be it!!! And/or I thought the symptoms were from something else rather than allergies. But considering it gets worse in spring, probably allergies lol and I’m pretty sure that wasn’t me but idk. I’ve never had allergy testing but I would like to get it done. I think I did have a test a long time ago like when I was really little but I’d like to get redone. Plus I don’t think it was official or food testing or anything. But I was supposed to be allergic to dogs, cats, and gerbils for some reason lol but we have always had dogs and cats and we had a gerbil as a class pet in 3rd grade and I was fine. And I think they said when you have the animal, you can sometimes outgrow the allergy. Which I think I did because I have zero issues. BUT. I am allergic to our current cat. Not really badly or noticeablely but her fur gets all in my eyes and nose and mouth if I hold her and fluff flies everywhere so I try not to get too close to her or let her in my room. I still pet her and play with her and stuff and do hold her but not too closely lol but she is long haired and our previous cat was short haired and I think the long haired bothers me more. So I think if I ever get another cat, I will get a short haired cat. But I hate litter boxes so idk if I will. Maybe an outdoor cat lol and I think I might shave her again this year. That seems to help. For dogs, I don’t think I am allergic at all because I can bury my face in Frank’s fluff and my friend’s Goldens’ fluff and I am fine. But that said, I do sometimes feel a little bit odd after they kiss/lick me so I might be more allergic to the saliva/kisses but idk. It’s mostly when they kiss me on the face.

This may be a dumb question but I'm going to ask it anyway. For chicks that are 5 weeks old, the feathers they have at that point.... will they change much or grow in differently or pretty much stay the way they are with little variation? Does that make sense? For example: My lakeshore egger chick was yellow as a chick. Her feathers came in white. Is it a safe bet that she will continue to be white as she becomes an adult?

On Meyer Hatchery website says, "Because the Lakeshore Egger has been developed out of several breeds, chick color can vary from yellow to buff and some even have a dark stripe down their backs. Adults of this breed can be white with buff or red patches or nearly solid red with some black."

She is just solid white. I'm not seeing any patches or hints of color at all. It's just a curiosity thing for me.

She may have color "bleed". And yes, it can show up later. Mahogany, for example, tends to come through (look at pictures of Amberlinks) so it just depends on what the white is diluting.

My "white" EE has diluted wild type patterning. I can see a faintly rosy breast and light gray neck ticking but it's so subtle that you really have to be looking for it to notice. And she isn't white-white but more of a cream color. She has to stand next to a white chicken to notice that.
