I'm avoiding beer brewing due to the time constraints & honey-dew list. Now, we bring up distillation. I've got too many hobbies. Thank you for adding another "if-I-had-time" want to the list. Sounds like fun."According to federal law, it is illegal TO DISTILL A-N-Y SPIRITS OF ANY KIND IN ALL 50 STATES. THAT BEING SAID, THERE IS A LITTLE KNOWN “EXPERIMENTAL” LICENSE YOU CAN GET TO BECOME LEGAL, AND THEN YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WHILE STAYING COMPLIANT. I’M A LEGAL DISTILLERY, AND THE STATE LAWS ARE ONLY IF YOU WANT TO SELL YOUR PRODUCT. IN THAT CASE, I’D SUGGEST YOU GET THE FULL FLEDGED FEDERAL LICENSE, IT ISN’T THAT EXPENSIVE, AND THEN GO FOR YOUR STATE LICENSE. EACH YEAR THEY GET EASIER BUT THE MORE THE MERRIER! LOTS OF GREAT ORGANIZATION NATIONWIDE AND IN EACH STATE. JUST GOOGLE THEM."

Totally unrelated, just found the local Meadery. The head brewer was very talkative and informative. He also has bee hives. Spent a lot of time picking his brain and he offered that there is a local bee club.
Honey + mead = hmmm. If I quit my day job, sell the house, get a divorce...

Sorry to be so random/overthinking this/negative but I have a pretty bad headache/cheek ache? but my eye is also kind of puffy and red and really irritated and I think my headache is stemming from that so anyway, idk whether I should take a Claritin which might help the eye if it’s allergies which I think it is or whether I should take an Excedrin, Advil, or Tylenol, aka something for the headache, and just use some eye drops or something or what. Or if it is safe to use both and/or take them at once?? I would use the regular Claritin not the one with the stimulant/decongestant (Claritin D). Just Claritin. Bought some regular stuff the day after I bought the other stuff. But anyway, idk if they are safe to take at the same time? I kind of would rather deal with the headache aka not have one but my right eye is so puffy and red that idk what I should do.
This is amusing. I resemble this remark. 2 different ones caused anxiety. Then they said no alcohol.Oh the irony of being allergic to an allergy medicine.
A friend, that my son went to school with, and her fiance makes their own mead. When she found out that we were getting bees she said that once we get honey flowing they'd be interested in possibly trading some mead for some honey. They were interested in using local. My hubby loves mead so who knows, we may take them up on the offer.I'm avoiding beer brewing due to the time constraints & honey-dew list. Now, we bring up distillation. I've got too many hobbies. I was told, so this may be different in your area, that local honey is more valuable sold as honey. The commercial mixed honey is then bought bulk to make mead. Economics & religion. Both deal with profits.A friend, that my son went to school with, and her fiance makes their own mead. Some honey, even in the grocery store, is very expensive. We'll definitely keep in mind value for value.I was told, so this may be different in your area, that local honey is more valuable sold as honey. Have you tried a different allergy medicine to see if it helps with your symptoms better than Claritin (loratidine)? We do generic Zyrtec here which is cetirizine. Some people respond to Allegra (not sure what it's brand is off the top of my head). It varies for every person. My daughter can't take Zyrtec because we found out that she is allergic to it. Oh the irony of being allergic to an allergy medicine. But some medicines work better for some than others.
