Sweetpea is truly the sweetest little chicken. I tried to put her back twice cause I thought that’s what she wanted cause she woke up and got a little fidgety but then she refused to jump back in the brooder. Just wanted more cuddles and naps lol the last few pics are her current position

I also have very long, very curly hair. I keep being tempted just to give myself a buzz cut.

I didn't get an appointment because follow up was only necessary if she wasn't improving. I got in yesterday by doing standby as a walk-in. It took 3 hours.

She feels much cooler like the fever broke and I got her to drink a little water. IDK whether to be hopeful. She's still not able to stand.

Their really axorable, I saw some of the picks. Did they turn out to be pekin ducklings?? They looked like it.

Finally made a new watering bucket. Put more nipples on it this time and at different heights but didn’t put any on the back this time since it’s going up against the fence anyway. About to go test it out.

I think the were Pekings, but I don't remember for sure. @Texas Kiki what did you decide the balutties were?

I sure hope she hangs in there for you. We were all just getting to know her! I want more Jett murders and corpse defilement!
