His online homework correlated with absolutely nothing he taught (he even acknowledged this but said it’s too bad), and the book wasn’t even a part of the curriculum. It’s not that big of a deal. If I need to retake the class later on, then I will. I had way too much going on this semester, it just got overwhelming.

Oh wow that sucks!! I bet, that’s totally understandable. Might be better to retake it anyway when you have less going on and get a better grade maybe. Although if you pass, probably not worth retaking it just because. I’m sure you’ll pass though!!

And btw I was just thinking the answers might have been online (like Google, not his stuff) or in the book somewhere even if he didn’t use it? But maybe not, idk.

The answers would be online (had to pay for a homework help service he was that bad at teaching chem) but it didn’t help unfortunately.

Oh wow that is awful!! I’m sorry he was so bad!! Why is he still there if he sucks so badly? Ha

And aw that sucks!! at least you passed though, that’s the most important thing. Did other people do badly too?? And are there other teachers you could retake the class with instead?

It was his second semester teaching, we’ll see how long he lasts. Other people did do badly too, but we had two students who excelled (one wasn’t even on the roster...so that whole thing was sketchy) in the class and screwed with the curve every time. A whole 6 students by the end of the semester should tell you how...bad it was by then.

Maybe some of the issues are just because he’s new and will get better the longer he’s there?? Or maybe he’ll get fired before then. Guess we’ll see ha but wow that really sucks!! That must have been really annoying!! And that’s weird about the one who wasn’t even on the roster. But that sucks about the curve. Although I’ve probably been that student before And oh wow! How many did you start with? Ha

Yeah this actually reminds me of my nutrition class when literally me and like one other person kept getting really high grades and everyone else kept getting really bad ones the funny part was it was actually really easy if you read the book and did the HW also the test questions were literally the exact same as the weekly online quizzes so you could just study/memorize those and ace the test yet so many people didn’t even do the quizzes!! Then someone it was the professor’s fault and he was awful and terrible and mean. I can understand not having time to read though, tbh I didn’t really either and didn’t do most of the online and it was a community college so some of these people have like full time jobs or kids or lots of other classes or whatever and no time to read but even if you don’t do anything else except the quizzes.... the test questions were LITERALLY the exact same, not even just similar or based off it. and this was not a secret either. He told people this. Multiple times.

I felt bad for him as everyone like hated him and thought he was terrible and I thought he was actually a really nice guy. He did make you work though and I think people just didn’t want to actually work lol especially since some of the other professors don’t make you.

And yeah, that is really weird. Almost like he was planted or something hah not really but still weird.

And awww I hope he doesn’t get fired then!! Probably just still new and learning.
