Those wrinkles are too much. :love

The golden retrievers and I feel the itchy at this time of year too. No hotspots for Triumph yet, knock on wood. Poor Tesa back at my parent’s house has one though, and I feel like I could itch my eyeballs out on some mornings.
Me too! It’s non-stop with the sneezing, and eye-rubbing allergy torture.

:love:love:love Omgosh look at those wrinkles! Love it!
The wrinkles are adorable but man they aren’t fun to clean when they are caked with dirt! :gig

They are cute dummies aren’t they?

:barnie:mad::barnie I hate inefficiency!!
Hubby has an appt with his heart doctor Monday afternoon for follow-up and yearly scripts. (One script is on recall and a new med must be prescribed) But they did not send in his lab request for this week. Has to have 8 hour fasting labs done early for doctor and/or bring a hard copy of the results.

After two phone calls, finally got them to fax it yesterday morning to our lab at local hospital where it has been done for several years...saves us an hour drive both ways.

Well, he goes in this morning for the blood draw and no lab order request can be found in either the clinic or the hospital. He comes home has coffee and a small breakfast.
I call dr office again worried we may have to change his appt if I can't get lab results before the appt...
IT IS A weekend!:he
And local lab can't release test results to patient....has to go thru med records.

Dr office sends the fax for the lab order so now I can get him to our local lab by 3:30pm today. I called the lab to confirm the order was there. She suggests I fill out a records release form (72 hour turn around), hand deliver form to the Med Records office at the hospital before 4:30pm closing today and then MR can either fax the results to the dr Monday morning or I can pick up a hard copy then. No guarantee the "MyChart patient portal" will post the test results over the weekend.

Heart Doctor staff was really snotty to work with this week.
No explanation for not setting up the labs in the first place, or for not sending them yesterday after two phone calls, just "if you can't get the test results to the doctor by Monday, call and we will attempt to reschedule him within the next two weeks".
Frustrated! But resolved to get the test results!

I'm going to go hug my dogs and play with the baby ducks!

Well, Spring is over already. It's Summer now. Is going to be 90 degrees today. It's a scorcher out there. I went and cleaned and refreshed the shavings in the duck coop. Refreshed and cleaned the chicken coops. Didn't collect eggs yet because I had a chicken trying to lay an egg in the box that they were in. I'll collect in a bit. I refreshed all of their waterers. I didn't empty and refill the duck pool, I just topped it off for now. I'll clean and refill it tomorrow or Sunday. I did spray the ducks with the hose, which they loved. I like playing around with them. They are so funny and get so hyper and happy. And I got the sprinkler going to water the garden because it is so dry. Oh, another neat thing happened a few days ago. We checked on the bee hive to see how it was progressing along. It had been a month so far. It was 80% or so full so we put the Super on the bee hive. :celebrate Hopefully it's not too early but it's coming along nicely so far that we thought that we'd give it a shot. We'll check on it again in a couple of weeks and see how it's doing and see if they are starting to store any honey. I'm so excited! :drool The only downside... we having having quite a time with ants. Pesky little things! :rant

I worked myself into a headache from the heat so am going to go cool off a bit.

What else should I add for the inside of the coop if anything? I'm still trying to figure out how I want the waterers to go. I'm thinking a big bucket with horizontal nipples or maybe the cups. They'll just sit on stacked bricks in the middle.

It's going to be a 10 x 12 coop.

A place to hide freshly hatched chicks.

So the brooder that I have under the roost board closest to the door? ;)

I'm never raising chicks in a tub brooder again. :sick Plus integration will be a lot easier with them in there from day 1.
I swear I read it.
:barnie

I just read it completely wrong.
