What is this Broadchurch show that I've seen ya'll talk about? What kind of show is it? As in, drama, suspense, sci-fi, thriller, etc? Does it have zombies? Seems like that is the craze since The Walking Dead came out. I don't do zombies. My hubby just started watching The Santa Clarita Diet with Drew Barrymore and that Olyphant dude. Not sure if I spelled his name right. He likes him as an actor and when he was in Justified. Anyway, Hubby thinks the show is hilarious. I won't watch it. Not even though it is supposed to be a comedy and not scary. I just can't. So what kind of show is Broadchurch?

No, no zombies! it’s kind of like a detective/mystery type show. I really like it. It’s really good and has a lot of plot twists and makes it hard to figure out who did it which I like ha plus it has David Tennant!

I struggle with phone anxiety as well, it’s a very silly and frustrating dilemma, isn’t it? Lately I’ve started coming to terms with how much anxiety actually effects my day-to-day life. I’ve been frienemies with depression for a long time but I was always in denial about anxiety.. don’t know how I missed that one.

I have no answers of course but I’ve accepted that certain things are just a part of us. Temptations to fall back into old addictions.. traumas.. whatever.. it’s not like you can snap your fingers and brainwash them away. You keep on keeping on and find new ways to grow and mature, despite your faults. And if you have one day where you’re a little uprooted because of a trigger you saw, or a passing toxic thought, that’s okay too. Because progress isn’t linear, and speedbumps don’t mean you have to hit the brakes and go into reverse.

Yeahhhhhh..... I didn’t realize quite how long that post *cough* text book *cough* was until I just went back and looked at it.

Anyway, yeah it sucks! And it really is stupid!! And for me I think it’s somewhat the opposite. I mean, I’ve known I’m depressed too but for a while now I keep being like oh I’m not that bad just because at least I wasn’t crying all the time anymore but meanwhile I still have like zero self care, zero desire to do anything, room is a disaster, etc. but I’m “fine.”

I did finally realize though a while ago that I’m pretty sure I still am, it’s just taken on a different form. Instead of the crying all the other stuff. And not sleeping and eating and drinking properly.

But I have like horrible anxiety and have had a few panic attacks not in a while thankfully but I tend to get myself really worked up about things sometimes.

Also this is kinda weird but I’m pretty sure after I quit the SH, my anxiety and OCD got way worse. And it’s kept getting worse. It’s pretty bad now.

I especially hate the OCD.

But thank you for this. That last paragraph... and especially the last sentence... I... wow. It’s so wise and helpful. I love the speed bump part. I think I may save it ha but seriously, this whole post was very helpful and very kind and made me feel a lot better so thank you.

Who needs therapy when you have great advice and friends like this!?

Anyway, sometimes I wish I could just snap my fingers and make it go away. But then usually I think oh I wouldn’t change anything cause it made me who I am and made me stronger and all that boring basic stuff and I do kinda believe it but then I have days like the other day and Friday where I’m struggling so much and I wish I could make it stop. And then I get all frustrated because I think to myself... it’s been almost 5 freaking years. FIVE. YEARS. Why am I still thinking this stuff and struggling with it? I should be totally over it by now. And I’m not. And it sucks.

Well, I invited hubby’s family over on a whim for dinner tonight. He’s working every day this week but it was the only day that kind of worked for his birthday.

I haven’t slept and I’m trying to find energy to clean the house, vacuum, mow the lawn, finish the laundry, go grocery shopping, find a birthday cake, and make dinner.

I just can’t.

The dog hair is endless. The other day I got through vacuuming my whole house before I realized the vacuum was plugged with dog hair the whole time. I almost cried.

Did you know that they have been known to steal eggs from other nest boxes too?

Snow the white rock lays in the other nest box ( I have two for 3 hens). Foxtrot and Blue were laying in the nest box Blue is sitting in. I checked under her last night and she had an extra egg from Foxtrot. I think Foxtrot sat on top of her to lay the egg! Silly chickens.

This does not prevent fund raisers from calling or any companies that you have had legitimate contact with. The other one that it does not stop are the scam phone calls because they are thieves and do not care about whether or not they are doing something illegal.

On the other hand, if you know the phone number of the caller, you can individually report them and you will stop getting calls from the reported number.
