➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Oh that blows. Was it classes that couldn’t transfer or what? What degree plan?

I applied for A&M’s biomedical department a couple months ago and they deferred me. I sent my final grades in as soon as I got them and I’m waiting on their (second and final) decision now.
If I don’t get in, I’m not really sure what to do. I have no other classes left to take at a 2-year so I’ll just be stuck in limbo I guess...

Yeah. The classes wouldn’t even transfer over here at the 2-year to the correct degree plan, which was associate of arts(????), so it was a huge bust.

I’m sure you’ll get into the department! Especially with the grades you got this semester.

Nope. It was a science course and for some reason my college algebra course didn’t transition so that was stupid. I’m just dealing with it at this point.

No worries, my memory sucks too.

This is pretty much where Annabelle has spent most of the day.

I gave her 2 Xena eggs to go with either the 1 or 2 she is trying to sit on. I guess I’m going to let her go for it. Now ducks aren’t like chickens in that they sit and don’t move right? Ducks will sit a while but also will get up to go eat, drink and bathe/splash in the pool won’t they? So if I see her up and about I shouldn’t worry unless I don’t see her sitting anymore? I’m going to have so many questions. Worst case scenario is we’ll end up throwing out the eggs. Best case is we’ll have babies in a little under a month.

As long as she goes back to them you’re fine. Duck eggs are hardier than people give them credit for

Lol.. I meant that if I couldn’t have handled making a phone call myself, then I definitely wouldn’t have been able to handle getting married and moving out of my parent’s house. There’s no adults to handle the bills or doctors or whatever anymore, it’s kinda sink or swim.
