➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Okay....I"m baaaack!
We have 28 duck eggs that were set on 3/18 in the evening. Day 1 was 3/19 pm. Temperature has been steady at 99.9 degrees and water is added every 3rd day. That makes today day 19. Duck eggs will go to lockdown on 4/13 with pipping and hatch beginning 4/16 until 4/18.
The egg candler used is a plug in Magiclite that I ordered on Amazon to replace my Brinsea that a mouse chewed thru the cord. It has a rubber cone on the end to help cushion the egg during candling. I left them on the egg turner to support the eggs during the process.

How can you properly run an experiment with so many variables!?!?
I suspect you need to do it with large quantities of eggs so that the variables of date laid and which bird laid the egg become negligible. Let's max out your bator with balut eggs! How many can it hold? 100? 1000? Hatch all the little duckies!
We need to start a "go fund me" site for this size experiment . Don't think the weekly starbuck's allowance would cover the expense. :barnie

I don't do YouTube...other than to watch them. :caf
The video was getting an error message for being too long.
I tried to show allllll the eggs. Then the short version with six eggs was too long too.
I'll try again later. The incubator needs to warm back up again.
We can't upload videos straight to BYC.
We have to use an outside 'source' like Youtube.

Oh yes it would.
Starbucks gets pretty much daily visits from me.
That adds up to a nice amount of green dollars.

You should go ahead and make a Youtube account now.
