Happy to say Momma and pups doing well this morning. Everyone is resting with full bellies.

Yes electricity is the only true bear repellent. If you look up Casey Anderson and Brutus you can see where he does “bear proofing” tests on products. Even he uses electric fence because the bear can feel it before it gets shocked.

My husband just called me at work to say he saw the coyotes headed towards the house as he was leaving! I hope they don't snag my quackers!

Seriously, why alarm me, we are now both at work and our dogs are locked in the house. There is nothing that can be done. The birds are either safe as they have been or the coyotes will find a way in. I'm sure they have visited many times before, I see and hear them on a regular basis. They woke me up like 3 times last night!

I think you need to run home for lunch and do a loud coyote rain dance in the yard.

I wish, I have a meeting at work mid day and my house is 45 minutes away. I'm hopeful they will be fine. I even worked on the fence yesterday afternoon so it's more secure than it was 24 hours ago! I suppose I should be working now and not on BYC as well
