➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

And you have a ranch!? Somehow I don’t think I knew that?? Or maybe I did and just forgot?? But is it anything like the horses on TV? Haha I’m always impressed with those. :love
Yes, my in-laws run about ~800 head on their ranch.

It has been 60°F in the house here all day today. I finally broke down and cleaned the pellet stove and started a fire. The living room is warming up now.

The outside high for the day was 43°F at 2 PM and the low was 36°F at 8 AM.

It’s been very cold in our house lately too. Especially since today it was pretty cloudy and damp. Didn’t really rain I don’t think but I think it might have earlier as the ground looks like it. The sun broke through for a little bit this afternoon but still cold and it wasn’t for long.

I’ve been debating turning the heat on :lau

But I keep telling myself it’s too early for that.

And it’s pretty warm upstairs. Just downstairs that’s cold. The kitchen mostly.

That is awesome!! Love the pictures. :love

I’ve always thought that looked like a cool life, at least from all the TV shows/movies about it, but of course it’s a lot more work than they show there.

Do they raise them for meat or dairy or? Looks like a lot of different breeds there?

Sorry for all the questions.
They are a cow-calf herd, meaning they have a permanent herd of cows that raise calves every season that are later sold for beef.

From hubby: “We have a mix of breeds. Mostly beef master, which is angus/Hereford/Brahman mix. Also red and black angus, and Charolais.
Our bulls are pure bred, 2 beef master, 1 hereford, 2 angus.”

What blue potion was that baby drinking?

What blue potion was that baby drinking?
Blue potion is mana potion.
Red potion is for health.

Why does the calf need mana? Growth potion is recommended. Just ask Alice when she is 10 feet tall.

Do you know why the sunrise is terrible in Athens?
Cause Dawn is tough on Greece. :gig
