Ya'll are strange. Cottage cheese is rad. Full fat, though, not that nasty low fat, flavorless rubbery crap. Applesauce, on the other hand, is a bit of a toss of up. Chunky applesauce sounds super gross to me. Smooth or bust. Also, I like rosemary applesauce.
I don't think mixing the two sounds very good at all.

Food allergies sound like a real pain in the arse. I don't think I'm allergic to anything at all, except for maybe cilantro. It tastes like slimy dish soap to me. Disappointing because it smells lovely.

Thank you!! Cottage cheese is delicious. But yeah, the no fat stuff is gross lol

Smooth applesauce to me is like mostly watery and kinda nasty haha although I do like it sometimes. Idk. Highly depends on the brand.

The word chunky I admit sounds nasty and makes it sound like curdled milk or chunks of pus in a zit/abscess or something super vile and nasty and repulsive but tbh it’s mostly just diced/cubed apples in regular applesauce lol

I didn’t used to think mixing them sounded good either until I tried it. Trust me it’s delicious lol but you gotta stir it together well so the flavors blend. :drool

Rosemary applesauce sounds nasty.

I don’t really have any food allergies but I think I am starting to develop some sensitivities to some stuff.

I'm trying to remember the especially sprayed crops. I think it was strawberries and peppers of the sweet bell variety?

Strawberries and spinach are huge ones. Not sure on others.

It seems to change... every year they come out with a dirty dozen. Usually those two are on it

I didn’t realize the list changed every year but yup, there’s a list. Dirty Dozen and they also have the Clean Fifteen.

Here’s the dirty dozen list. If you click on each one it gives more info.

Yes! Strawberries and spinach were the ones I was thinking of... not bell peppers. This is why I don't eat spinach. Not only does it taste like dirt, it's been poisoned! Love kale, though. Course, it's everywhere in my garden. I couldn't get rid of it if I tried.

Whoops, you guys beat me to it haha

I need to cut way back on my spinach.

Or maybe buy organic or grow it lol

You have wild kale!? I’m jealous!!

This popped up in my Facebook memories. :lau :gig :lau

For the record, still accurate. Still prefer apple over pumpkin. :lau

I planted kale one year. An heirloom variety that went to seed late in the season. I can't get rid of it, so I just eat a lot of kale. I did cut the fennel down this year before the seeds dropped so I hope i don't have to remove the "fennel carpet" next year. This year was brutal.

That’s awesome!! I wanna try growing kale and/or lettuce. And that sounds awful!! We have a lot of raspberries that are a huge pain!!

Both kale and lettuce are probably the easiest things to grow ever. Plant early!
I'm cool with raspberries spreading. Mine are nutso and I let them go where they please. I love raspberries.

I can never seem to grow it for whatever reason. I’ve tried spinach a couple times and it’s died early or just failed to sprout both times :hit

Although last year I actually did manage to grow a few types of lettuce. I forget which types but it was good and did really well. It also apparently went to seed and popped up wild in the back this year lol I didn’t eat it though, I gave a bit to the chickens which they didn’t really eat and then I think it died or went to seed again. Or the animals got it, not sure. This year I ordered a few packs of good lettuce and some other veggies but forgot to plant most of it :hit

I think I will save it for next year. Or maybe I can grow lettuce inside?? I’m trying to keep some of my peppers alive over winter by bringing them in. I have two in pots so it’s easy.

I love raspberries too but the wild animals get most of ours lol mostly birds and chipmunks. But it’s spread all over the back as well the side and even to the front!! There’s even some in the front garden/walkway. But mostly it’s in the back and then way up on a hill in the front. It’s really wild/crazy/prolific once those two spots. I leave the front alone. There’s lots of other weeds up there too. The back I mostly leave alone but this year I went and cut back a bunch of the stalks about maybe a month or so ago, late August I think. I don’t normally mind the raspberries but they were growing into my vegetable garden and also looked ugly so that’s why I did it. The stalks were way into the garden making it hard to collect veggies without being stabbed lol and somewhat choking some of the plants out.
