All this talk about food isn't helping my stomach. The aroma from the chili cooking in the kitchen is drifting back here and it smells delicious.

I could cry! I’ve only met a handful of other Caitlins, ever. How funny is that.
Kaitlins get a pass. Kaitlyn is pushing it.
Kate Lynns need to be put out of their misery.

Not clam!?
True Caitlins of the world unite!
Yeah, I feel quite strongly that Y’s should only ever be at the ends of names.

Yes, that was/is my hubby!Hey @NanaKat was it you that said your husband loves watching the police/detective/crime shows? Can’t remember if it was you or somebody else.but if it was you, what did he think of last night’s NCIS New Orleans episode (if he watches that one)? Cause I finally had a chance to watch it (and the other 2 Tuesday night shows) tonight and man am I upset about this one LOL also I thought the other two shows were really good. If he doesn’t watch them and/or it wasn’t you I was talking about this with forever ago then just ignore my rambling.

Yes, that was/is my hubby!
He was really surprised that the writers of NCIS New Orleans killed LaSalle off. We really liked his character.
Mmm. Lamb.I fixed a boneless leg of lamb!
Made hubby a grilled Swiss cheese and lamb sandwich...only way he will eat lamb.
Shampooed the living room and master bedroom carpets today. Then it rained and the dogs came in with soiled feet grabbed them quick...just two spots to clean.
We have been having cold rainy nights the past several days and will be 20s in the morning. I have heat lamps in the well house and over the faucet in the barn.
This morning I found an older hen that died in the hen house in the barn and a rooster that died in the butcher pen. Adequate housing for both, but rooster decided to sleep on the roof of his coop inside the closed run...got chilled from the rain last night
Chicks are hatching under a good broody today in the hen house.
Mmm. Lamb.
Went for dinner at my parents house and we had a whole feast. Lamb chops (aussie staple), roast, sausage.. I’m stuffed.
When we got there I went to give Triumph some love, as usual. He wouldn’t get off of his bed and when he rolled over for belly rubs he started screaming in pain. He screamed several more times while trying to roll onto his back and adjust himself. It broke my heart. It was horrible. He can’t lift his head or walk very well. His back is arched like a cat and he has a knot in his shoulder from having to compensate. I don’t know how many days he’s been like this; I’m trying not to deflect certain emotions onto my family. I think he might be staying with hubby and I from now on. Permanently.
Anyway.. I’m fairly sure he has slipped a disk and we took him home with us. He is in a world of pain right now.
I’m calling the A&M clinic first thing in the morning. I wasn’t a huge fan of the last vet we took him to, the one that prescribed the pain killers and did his dental work. I felt like he totally disregarded my requests for cancer screening or any sort of deeper diagnosis, and found him a little disrespectful in general. I appreciate pain management but I want to know what I’m dealing with.
So I’m out for answers this time. X-rays, CT, MRI.. whatever they think is most effective and cost efficient within reason.
Anywayx2, I’m rambling because I’m nervous and it’s really tearing me up seeing him like this. Wish him luck.. Hope we get an early appointment and a good doctor.
I'm thinking that her bator may do better in a room that isn't used, bathroom, with the door kept closed.@KDOGG331
With the type of incubator that you have, the more the temperature in the room fluctuates, the more the temperature in the incubator will fluctuate. In order to keep the incubator temperature more stable, keep the room temperature stable. Do not turn the room thermostat down at night and raise it in the morning. Set it for one comfortable temperature, cooler or warmer does not matter as long as you don't keep changing the thermostat.
