➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I didn’t mean to sound like such a downer. I’m actually pretty content with how it all went—I mean, they didn’t find anything, right? It’s just a depressing subject in general I guess.
I got several comments about how good he looks for a 12 year old golden retriever, which makes me real proud. :)
Triumph is beautiful! I love his grey muzzle!
And you are the best owner a dog could have. Knowing when he is ready will be easier because you are taking the quality road.
We did the same with all our dogs. Our vets are the same way. Glucosamine/condrotin might help with Triumph's joints and arthritis. It helped both Red and Gracie. They were on it for several years. :hugs

That's exactly why we are so concerned! This is a huge pipeline project under a shell company masking big oil companies. They sent out a slew of registered letters with all kinds of instructions for responding. They apparently thought that many would be dazzled by the golden dollar signs and sign and return the contract quickly...saving them the expense of the negotiation process.
My BIL advised my hubby to "sign that in a hurry before they change their minds!"
I said "No!" after just reading the first two items of the contract. He thought I was being paranoid. Thankfully, hubby knows that I have dealt with my mom's oil leases and now do that for my sister. He agreed I should visit with our attorney who also handles lots of oil issues.

We have a pre-existing pipeline across the far northwest corner of our section that is owned by a small oil company. No problems with them. Fortunately it is in a flood plain so only good for pasture...not suitable for homes. That has only had one repair in the 20 years we have owned this farm.

I can use email and telephone contacts.

Do you have a state regulatory board?
They are not supposed to come on your property unless they have legal RoW and that is to only service the right of way. They can cut limbs that encroach into the RoW.
And they are responsible for any damage they do to your fences that are outside the right of way easement.
Documenting the issues you have with them helps with the board.
They electric company is just as bad as the oil companies with pipelines. The spray they use in Oklahoma is a combination of Remedy, Round-up and another herbicide. It kills everything! They spray the fence row under the power lines along our gravel road. When they sprayed one summer five years ago and killed swaths of hay meadows ready for cutting, several of us farmer/cow men contacted our Electric Co-op and complained. We got compensation and assurances that this would not happen again.
I got ahold of them on FB msg the last time the tree trimmers left a mess. Sent a bunch of pictures. They sent a crew out and sort of picked up. Not as good as I would have liked. But they did move the cottonwood logs. Tried to tell me I should ask friends because they would want it for firewood...ha nobody wants cottonwood, I had half a cord of hardwood I was waiting for people to pick up for a year.
This spring they came by before they sprayed and I gave them a earful as to previous issues. Told them I was doing organic. They skipped spraying the fence line.

It's very frustrating to find a mess and trees cut down on the property... Shouldn't have to deal with it

@Kiki , guess what I'm going to try to make while I sit in front of the tv tonight....after I feed and lock up the cats and dogs, chickens and ducks.

My beagles lump is on her side almost by her armpit. It doesn't bother her so the vet said it's fatty tissue and to not stress so I haven't. We rescued her from a hunter who no longer wanted her since she was gun shy. She's been my buddy ever since.

My pug has seizures and we took the option of treating them all naturally (real CBD) she used to have them two times a week, now she has one maybe every 6 months sometimes she goes 8 months. I had a dog when I was 18 that they put on phenobarbital for seizures and the dog passed away because of the medication so I never did medication again unless it was a life or death situation. It made the dog literally go crazy, I am still horrified from what I saw in those 2 weeks she used those meds.

I think all of us dog owners can understand why we either say yes to medical intervention or not. We all have our reasoning. Your dog is loved and knows it is :hugs
so with the cbd your pug has no seizures?

I'll take a few more pictures of the few my grandma made that are on my tree now so you can see how she did them....when I get back home in a few minutes.

Now I'm all emotional thinking about your dog

Yes, but is the medical grade kind. She gets 15 drops a day and has gone to almost no seizures.
Dog stories from my BYC peeps always make my eyes water.
