There are a lot of cities that I've been through that are quite sketchy I know that there's one in Connecticut too.

I used to go to Boston medical when I lived in New Hampshire.

yes Connecticut definitely has some!! And OMG yeah that’s definitely a pretty shady part of the city ha there’s definitely worse areas than others. That one has a ton of homeless people and the men’s shelter is right there so all the homeless people and drug addicts are always hanging out right there next to the road. It’s kinda sad actually in a way :/ but definitely sketchy. I think there’s a big homeless camp nearby too. I think I saw it one time. It’s the other direction as the hospital.

but yeah between all the panhandlers and druggies and homeless people, it’s not exactly safe and I wouldn’t want to be there at night haha

All of this talk makes me want to go get training on gun handling I actually just found my hunting license so that I'm able to go crossbow hunting and bow hunting.

I think I’d be too scared to use one lol

Pepper spray though....

I can't decide if I want to or not this year.

We’re just having it here since DB & SIL are having it with her parents. I think my other brother is coming home though. So it’ll just be us and our parents haha

Which I’m glad about cause I don’t like going elsewhere

and OMG isn’t it a little late to not have plans yet!? Lol

I say if you can try to go somewhere for it!

Cooking is a huge pain

We are going to my parents for Thanksgiving, but I am cooking some things. I'm going to make a Dutch apple pie, an apple pie, and instant pot macaroni and cheese.

Sure!!! I usually make enough for an army, but you might have to beat my kids off to get some mac and cheese and maybe my husband.

My mom usually makes the turkey and injects it with all this seasoning. Everyone really likes it. She usually makes mashed potatoes enough for an army, but my whole family is obsessed with potatoes.
