➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I really need to get a Fitbit

I have one but need to find the charger.

I’m not even gonna post mine from today’s. :lau

I have one, but I don't now where it went. @KDOGG331 sound familiar :gig

:lau believe it or not I know where most things are! I just sometimes forget I own things :lau

My FitBit was in my drawer in the kitchen like I thought it would be. Stowed it there a while ago.

Now the charger is another story.... lol

Well, to be fair, it wasn't exactly Mt. Everest.

:lau :gig :lau

Still!!!

Turn your phone off while you are in the store!

:lau probably a good idea. Though tbh I was pretty fast this time. Did use it some/stand there some but I also spent forever driving around the parking lot trying to find a spot/using it in the car :lau

I probably spent most of the time I. The car. I was pretty fast (for me) in the store today. :lau

Once I actually got moving and stopped standing there.

I walked all over too.

It amazes me how oblivious people are of their surroundings due to being on their phone

They had to put multiple warnings in that Pokemon GO game because people were literally walking straight into the road and stuff and playing while driving, etc. and being seriously hurt or killed.

Personally I think that’s just plain stupidity.

I always look up/am aware of where I’m going and try not to use it while walking anymore which is why I stop and stand somewhere sometimes for a few seconds or minutes.

I also answer when people talk to me.

My dad on the other hand gets completely glued into it and won’t hear you or look up when he’s absorbed in it. Even earlier today I went downstairs to ask him something, he was outside smoking (our basement has a door to the outside) so I stood there and waited/watched. Totally glued to his phone the whole time and he put it out, opened the door, walked inside, etc. without ever looking up once. Walked halfway to his desk (he works from downstairs) before he finally looked up and noticed me standing there and of course was scared shitless :lau:rolleyes:

He claims he “knows his path and there’s usually never anyone in it”

Obviously my phone use is bad too so I’m not trying to say ones worse or hypocritical or whatever but I try to at least be aware of my surroundings/pay attention if people are trying to talk to me.
