➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I've only ever seen babies sold at those places.

I don't live in Houston lol. I'm sure there is some somewhere but I'd rather not spend yet another day driving, especially not into downtown Houston. Yuck.

I adopted Peter from a lady who runs a ferret rescue a couple hours away. I am going with babies this time around.

I hate petco but my options are limited.

ohhh whoops. Sorry. :hide for some reason I thought you, Kiki, and Nutty, were all in/near Houston :lau :hide

Idk why I thought you were.... :hide

Totally understand not wanting to drive into the city, especially this time of year lol it’s insane.

And ahh okay. That makes sense. That will be super fun to have babies. :D

Oh and it’s spelled differently (the wrong/weird way) but did @Kiki change her name and move to FL without telling anyone!? :lau

I am near it.. kinda. I live between Austin and Houston now. We moved for A&M.

Barely.
Its bigger than I thought.
I should have ordered the smaller one but it's ok... We will make it work.
Lmao. A friend of ours gave us two enormous beanbag chairs as a wedding gift. They were about 5x5, maybe 6x6 around and very tall and dense.
I don't even think we lasted 3 months with them. Gave them away to the first person who would take them.. or maybe we threw them out?

:lau :gig :lau OMG!!! Why would anyone give that as a gift to begin with but let alone such big ones!? :lau

Whew! I am caught up again. It's been a busy past few days. We do a family get together for dinner and presents on Christmas eve and then I did a brunch that I cooked for us and my daughter and her boyfriend and my FIL. we had good visits and yummy food. I am worn out but nothing that a good night's sleep won't fix. I hope everyone had a nice Christmas. :hugs Take care!

ETA: I now have 2 ducks laying. The 3rd duck hen shouldn't be too far behind. As for my chickens.... they are still mostly slackers. Only have 1, maybe 2 laying. I've had to buy eggs at the store :th.
