Did you ever answer what breed chicks you got with your order?

I know you posted it on one of the threads but I can't find it.

I just let the chickens out like 15 minutes ago. They’ve really been itching to get out lately and it’s a pretty nice day.

I wasn’t sure if you meant the order or the ones I have now haha figured the order but wasn’t sure lol sorry

And I think I posted it on a few different ones haha but it’s probably buried now. but Brabanters (cream and gold) and Birchen Cochin bantams. You probably meant the Brabanters though haha

Ohhh okay so you did mean the last one LOL whoops! Sorry. Very confused today apparently.

I think this sickness is messing with my head haha

Anyway, with the egg order I got Rhode Island Red, Barred Rock, Buff Orpington, Lavender Orpington, Black Australorp, Easter Egger, Welsummer, Blue Andalusian.

And then of course the chicks I just listed in the last post.

And just in case/just because... all the chickens...

I also got 5 chicks in April. A Speckled Sussex, a Partridge Rock, a White Leghorn, a Delaware, and an Easter Egger.

And I already have 2 other Easter Eggers, 2 Black Australorps, and 2 Buff Orpingtons. I used to have another BO and a BR.

And yes!! I did!! Was gonna get OEGB too and get a roo but just got Cochins and I’ll just keep a standard boy haha

A customer of my husband's has been telling people and the two farms I got eggs from.

I should have 5 orders once I talk to two more people next time I see them

I'm thinking about selling fertile eggs too, but I'll wait for that part.

Right!? There are soooo many color varieties too. I want to try some other Cochins eventually lol and other colors of other breeds.

But I just love the Birchen pattern and never knew Cochins even came in it till I saw them there. I think the only other breeds that do are Marans and Iowa Blues and I didn’t really want those. Well, I would love Iowa Blues eventually but want to hold off and find a good breeder so it’ll probably be years haha

So for now I decided to try the Cochins to get my Birchen fix and because I do like Cochins. And bantams hopefully they’ll eat less and also get along with the Brabanters haha
