➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Okay so if I get a few of them they should all get along.

I'm going to move my ducks out of the chicken area and make them their own area with their own big coop. They just make a mess out of everything and they irritate the chickens. The chickens don't like drinking dirty water and 5 seconds after we change the water it's dirty. Plus my Pekin pickles is trying to mate with my rooster and it's really starting to irritate him. He wants nothing to do with her.

I think giving them their own area that's designed just for them with a pond and such would make everybody happier. I'm going to move my garden into the duck area too because they will be very good pest control for my plants. It's just a little experiment that I'm doing, if they screw everything up I don't even care

Good thing you don't care because they will strip your garden of all life. Mine are banned as soon as spring rolls around.

I know people who use ducks in their garden... But maybe geese are worse.

My ducks practically salt the earth. The eat onions, garlic, all life. I've never had geese in my garden, but I can't imagine anything worse than the ducks.

Oh wow. I'll have to see how they act maybe I'll put fencing around the boxes then they can just get pests that come out. I hate Japanese beetles and we have a huge issue with them every year. Nothing kills them either. I'm hoping the ducks can help out.

I just had a cat scan to see why my back is hurting so bad because they said they were never putting me in the MRI machine again.

They are saying that this bacteria that was in my blood could have attached itself to my spine or to tissue around my spine and started to infect it. Hopefully not...

If it did that just means that I will have to stay on antibiotics for even longer, but that doesn't change me going home.

I'm finally off of oxygen and they actually let me walk up and down the hallway a couple times. My body definitely has taken a beating, but I feel a lot better.

I ordered more for breakfast today. I'm just waiting on it. My husband is coming later and he is going to get me Panera bread which is inside the hospital.

I had to ask him to bring as many eggs as he could get for my nurse today. He's my favorite nurse. He's from the Marines and loves walking dead. Years ago he watched the season premiere with me He really wants to get chickens but he can't because of his HOA.

Breakfast was alright. Today will be the first day I'm going to try to eat all 3 meals. My husband is coming soon so we can have dinner together. He's getting chik Fil a because they have that in the hospital here too. This is a college and hospital so it has lots of nice things in it.

I put Japanese Beatle traps in the poultry yard. The ones that don't get in the traps and fall down get eaten
