SO cute! I got rid of mine because they were so loud that I actually considered eating them. FOR REAL. It sounded like screaming children, and it started every time I pulled in the driveway. It wasn't their fault. They just wanted more attention than I could give them. I did find an awesome family with more goats, more space and kids that take them hiking, and do 4H with them. I was all too happy to give them away.

Your babies are adorable. I can't wait for more pics.

I’m glad you shook them too. We have lots of these, but they don’t seem to mind us. Brown recluse are the ones we really watch out for. We have known 2 people who have been but by them.
I worked with a fellow that was bitten by a brown recluse on a hunting trip. It pretty much paralyzed him. When he got back to town they had to cut a huge hole in his back to remove all the necrotic tissue.
For brown recluse spider bites...crush a Nitroglycerin (0.4 mg) tablet and mix a little Neosporan to make a paste. Apply to bite and cover with a bandaid. The bite de-oxygenates the area and the nitro re-oxygenates it. My doctor's nurse said the doctor told her to do this when she got bitten twice...she has a tiny scar where she got bit each bite. I have nitro on hand for heart palpitations.

Nitro is not available to many of us.

Good to know, all the same. No nitro here, either. No brown recluses, either, far's I know. I did take care of a patient once who had lost his arm to a brown recluse. (unrelated to this particular hospitalization) It was the first time I had ever heard of them. Horrifying little beasts!

True. And this is an off script use of the nitroglycerin. A conversation with your doctor could either get you a salesman sample or provide the prescription for it to be available in a first aid kit. It is not an expensive medication even without insurance.

That is assuming one has a doctor.... Some of us haven't gone to a Dr in years
