➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

What a sweet face! That smile is :love
Theia is pretty bad about her paws—not quite as bad. Hubby has to hold her down and she screams the whole time. It's exhausting. :hugs
Instead of clipping you could try and use electric nail filing. If you introduce this slowly and after a long walk, she might be exhausted enough to not throw a fit and just tolerate the bit of tickling.

Started young is the key. With Lily we started massaging and handling her feet and toes when we got her at 4 months of age. Trimming her nails has been easy.
With my Ruby who we adopted at 4 years of age, any unusual noise jolts her into flight. The rustle of a newspaper makes her cower as she runs. Took me 5 months to convince Ruby she had to go outside to pee. Now she comes to let me know she needs to go.

@Tesumph 's Theia is also an adult adoptee.

When we give an older pet a forever home, we learn to give loving order to the baggage they carry...no matter how long it takes.

Update...your prayers have been helping.
We got our Covid nasal swabs done yesterday. Will be 5 to 7 days for the results...means I had to postpone my nuclear stress test.
Our friend had clear lung X-rays yesterday which is good news.
Quarantine is going well and neither of us have symptoms.

The BYC friend and his family are still coming to grips with their loss. Heavy hearts are healing slowly. Their faith is strong.

Got the car out of the shop the beginning of the week. Finally got the 350 Diesel and the Blue Ford back from the repair shops and in action in the farm fleet. Our friendly mechanic helped get our vehicles home for us while in quarantine.

Sister-in-law started chemo Wednesday and Thursday. Doctor told her the treatments will give her a little more time with her family.

Got our test results! Both of us showed "Not Detected" but we will still quarantine thru the 14 days just in case. Sent a MyChart message to our GP asking for a blood test...willing o pay for it even if insurance doesn't cover it. Hubby has high BP and heart issues. I'm diabetic with heart issues and we are both over 65.

Hauling hay together is still quarantining...
