They are predicting rain tomorrow and 16°F for Tuesday with a high of 40°F. I started picking the garden today.

Northern Exposure tomato (5" diameter) sad that it will not get to vine ripen.

Pumpkins, not a big crop.

Had fun at the wedding. Left about 2.5 hours before it was over because the boys are exhausted (so are we). Glad we decided to not drive back tomorrow. We’re going to Trader Joe’s (something that doesn’t exist in WV) and visit with some relatives.

I don't believe I have ever seen a gladiolus this color before. I definitely have never grown one this color before.

There was 2 1/4" by midnight and another 2" this morning. The low so far has been 31°F. I saved a couple of trees after midnight. The wind came up and helped keep the snow from sticking to the trees. There are going to be broken branches especially with the Russian Olives which were already hanging low due to to massive crop of olives.

The tom was the only one still on the roost this morning.

Most of the melons needed at least another week or two to ripen.
Orange Silverwave Cantaloupe It was almost there and did give hints of how good it could be if it was ripe. I ate it anyway.

Not positive but believe this is a Halona Cantaloupe. At least this one is ripe.

Painted Serpent Cucumber (it is 27" long and 2 1/2" in diameter at its widest), slicing cucumbers and Nadia eggplant.
