I had a 16 year old die in 2016 and an almost 9 yr old die last year.I’m really not looking forward to the next few years with my boy.. I wish I could just stop time now.

Oof. I don’t even know what to expect with mine. He’s 11 and still full of spunk but I know they can go downhill fast. I just lost my ferret that was just like any dog and I didn’t take it well.I had a 16 year old die in 2016 and an almost 9 yr old die last year.

Um....is a ferret like a rat?Oof. I don’t even know what to expect with mine. He’s 11 and still full of spunk but I know they can go downhill fast. I just lost my ferret that was just like any dog and I didn’t take it well.
No.. nothing like a rat. Although I have had rats and they make wonderful pets, believe it or not I find rats to act more dog like than ferrets do. Ferrets act a lot like kittens.Um....is a ferret like a rat?
I know what they look like...like a skinny long rat?
I am terrified of rats.
Did he/she live in a cage?
The Golden’s put up with him but our collie mutt didn’t. She stared at him like he was dinner so we didn’t even try haha.I had a ferret briefly. Sunshine used to wrestle it and carry it around the apartment in her mouth. The downstairs neighbors would ask what all the noise was. I'm not sure they believed us when we told them.![]()
Awe....He is actually very cute.No.. nothing like a rat. Although I have had rats and they make wonderful pets, believe it or not I find rats to act more dog like than ferrets do. Ferrets act a lot like kittens.
But my boy was a big squishy baby. He did have a cage but was often out. He was litter trained and knew his name and all that. I miss him a lot.
He really had a thing for dogs hahaha, liked to groom their faces and sleep in their fur. Unfortunately dogs didn’t feel the same way.

This was his last photo. I was trying to document his hair loss on his poor naked belly to monitor improvement after he got his hormone implant for adrenal disease. His face cracks me up, he was such a goober. He was chill with literally everything.

Less than two days after getting his magic implant and showing a little improvement, he suddenly plummeted. His bladder burst very early in the morning and he was in agony. It was a horrible ending and we didn’t see it coming, we just weren’t ready for it.. :/

We thought about getting another ferret but Peter was special. He didn’t like other ferrets and he was so chill and well mannered. I feel like he was one in a million in terms of personality.
I’m thinking barred rocks, welsummers, buff orps, and.. EE? Two of each.
The coop was supposed to be sanded down today, but husband left the sanding discs at the checkout.
This is the freaking never ending project.
He was very cute. We adopted him when he was 3 and totally missed the obnoxious nippy kit stage.Awe....He is actually very cute.
I am so sorry.
He doesn't look scary at all.
I am really glad I won't have to worry about rats coming to attack me when I come visit you!
