You have a lot of empty space to humidify. How about adding a couple of capped jars of (100 degree)water to take up space. Might help stabilize temp as well?

Well, it depends on what watt bulb you are using right now.
is it higher than one of these? a 25, 40, 60, 75 watt.

Buy one or 2 off the lower wattage. I like having them all. lol but that is just me... hahahha

Just get it as cllose to incy temp as you can so they don't change the temp when you first put them in.
