➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

No, no PhD but a Masters in Marine Biology, :old was just explaining how to figure the real % Rh (relative humidity) after conducting a salt test calibration of a hygrometer, so @shawluvsbirds could calibrate their hygrometer.
PS: sometimes I don't explain things very clear, I take it for granted that someone asking a question has some understanding of what I'm saying!
Lol! That sort of went over my head too. .sorry. I just assumed to add or subtract however much it was off. . so it read 67 during the salt test. . I just know whatever it says in the incubator I add 8. .
I actually bought an analog one and I like it better it was spot on in the salt test.

Can someone please explain to me what the heck is going on right now!

I just caught up.
So, to give a bit of an explanation as to what probably happened:
Water in an incubator is at a lower temperature than the air in an incubator. When water evaporates on thermometers/thermostats it causes the device to cool, and get a cooler reading. Generally, this would be called a "wet bulb" reading.
So, yes, your thermostat was reading a cooler temperature and was heating to compensate.

Shoot.
This sounds exactly like what happened.
Thank you.
I have now unblocked you for good.

Did you figure out what happened to Anna?
Was that her name?

We won't know until June.
Originally I thought she was murdered. She was found dead in her home's main doorway with a needle, pills, and large head wound. Some of her hair was on a lamppost and a corner of a tipped table had her blood on it.
Her ex husband was her life insurance benificiary for $1 million. He is struggling financially.

However, we have since learned that she is diabetic and has sickle cell anemia. She also had a heart issue, the one I starred.

I now believe she died of a heart attack.

We still can't explain the presence of the needle and pills.
