➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Yes, check them again in the morning!

Now that you have the ghetto incubator setup, pop back over to the balut counter with the flashlight and find a couple more that have movement.

Incubating is always a learning process That you can then see if what you learned helped with the next incubation.

Love this thread!

Experiment Phase 2! Coming to BYC soon.....:fl
Oh boy!

I wouldn't think an hour in 110°F would kill them.
Unfortunately, they must have been like that for a while.
Not your fault @KikisGirls :hugs
Actually, 105°F, internal egg temp, for an hour will kill the embryo!

1. I will wash my hands.
2. I will start with a working bator WITH calibrated things.
3. I will not use balut eggs.
4. I will build it and they will come!

@KikisGirls There is an Asian grocery an hour from me.
I could see if they have live Balut. Part 2, perhaps?

There are mandatory requirements for part 2.
#1 is a real working bator.

Do you have it now?

I am not quitting.
I will do this again.
I haven't decided just yet if I will do what I planned to do (quail) or actually try balut again.

It's not like I can't find live balut.
