Ewe, as in "sheep"?
No, Mexicans just put the egg under the bed or rub it over the injury, in hope that it will take the sickness or injury out.![]()

For your Easter morning entertainment.
I present my chick chicks.
Tweets doing great! Her wing feather are coming in giving me the thought perhaps a hen. Time will tell. Still just day 3.
Here are my other 4 chick chicks.
3 Silkies and 1 houdan frizzle sizzle (I think never saw one like her lol)
That is the chick my broody hen refused to accept. So separation of the 3 was needed till they get bigger than Annie my frizzle serama momma who accepted the one chick to mother.
Total drama I did not expect.
But working to keep them all close as a flock for later.
Thank you, the ice trays. They are great chick can't scratch or dust bath in their food.@LittleChicks4Me Super Cute! I love the fizzle/sizzle fluffiness. Also, great idea using ice cube trays.
Its like oat meal, think they use a different grain to make it but the consistency of wall paper paste...For real?![]()
Now this recipe sounds good.We love congee. My recipe is one cup of short grain rice in a crock pot with 8 cups water, or broth, or water and bullion, or water and a few pieces of chicken. Cook overnight or until the rice breaks and the whole mixture becomes translucent and very soft. Serve with a sprinkling of sesame oil and sesame seeds and maybe a little finely chopped green onion. Or enjoy plain. Or add some boiled chicken. Or put a fried egg on top. It's the kind of thing you make to taste. It's basically like oatmeal but made with rice. Very comforting and you can feed an army with it.
Yummmm love rice pudding...No thanks...I'll pass.
