Momma doing fine after surgery. #10 removed. #11 was huge and sideways according to the vet.

Vet said momma could feed the puppies. We did ask. Waiting to see if they come home tonight. Crazy Lady got some rest so she can take night shift tonight. I'm not getting a lot of work done today.

I am seriously glad you were able to be there for her!
Hugs to both you and this Crazy Lady I keep seeing mentioned.

Were any of the subsequent pups alive? Thank you again for all you have done for this stray. Every dog needs a friend I hope they all end up with great homes. Get some sleep. Update us later. I was not expecting to hear a number 11 even existed! No wonder mama looked like a cow!

These eggs were not alive to begin with. I'm going to make a pass to visit the other Asian store to see if they sell balut today,

I will be visiting The Man again next Thursday.

Last week's balut eggs were DOA.
This Thursday's eggs are going to be good...I just know it.

So sorry about the last eggs once again. Going back for another try....

She may be really exhausted. Can you give her some honey as an energy booster? She might take it better with a little peanut butter.

Edited to add: Finished reading and found that momma had a c-section and more puppies inside. Sorry for the lost pups but kudos to you and the Crazy Lady for fostering this stray and her babies! She and the pups might have died without your care.
