Sorry I thought I said I unplugged the bator yesterday.
I am going to go visit The Man tomorrow morning...take a look at Friday's eggs.


It was kind of a busy day with all the wormy poop.
I ended up taking him back to the vet yesterday afternoon because he would not stop pooping, like drops of liquid constantly.
I think it was the darn wet food that the stopped vet insist he be eating.
I got a few syringes of meds to help stop that and it has worked.
I am assuming the tapes are all gone but wouldn't you know he decided to poop ONE roundworm late last night.
I am so done with worms.

Hope he is feeling better today, (for both of you).

The med's the vet gave yesterday afternoon stopped all the crazy pooping...either the meds stopped it or a combo of him going back on his dry food.

(he got Metronidazole)

He doesn’t need that lol girl if your pup is at a healthy weight he doesn’t need all these extra things the vet is tricking you into buying.

You know what is funny...I know this yet he still convinced me to buy it!
I think it was because I was so worried about the darn rat that I wasn't thinking straight!

What did your vet use to rid the worms?

It was weird that he (vet) suggested this to me right?
He, the pup, is only one pound but he CAN chew and eat his dry food just fine.

Remember that veterinarians are just people who have a lot of education on the subject of animal health. They are still subject to personal opinion, preference, and bias. Feeding is one of those areas where you'll get different opinions vet by vet. It doesn't mean one is right or wrong, just that there are risks/benefits and they weigh them differently.

Medications are sometimes in this category too which is why I asked about Safeguard. Unless there is a resistant strain, I'd expect my vet to start with the small guns and save the heavy artillery for extreme situations. For example, I had one vet suggest daily OTC, coated aspirin for hip dysplacia pain in a 13-year old Brittany. We moved and when I took her in for her visit with a new vet, they were upset by this treatment and said that this would wreck her kidneys. They wanted me to use an expensive prescription drug (one which has kidney damage as the primary side effect risk!) I actually switched vets over this because I didn't feel like the advice was based on medical evidence.

I don't know if you see but I already starting looking for other local stores that sell balut.
I think I am now willing to drive across town (just not in rush hour traffic times) to go pick up balut eggs from different stores.

I honestly didn’t pay attention. They drew them up in syringes and put them in bags with my fur kids name. It’s the yellow liquid stuff but I can’t think of the name right off.

they just died. AC wasn’t very big for what day they were on. They were alive on Wednesday.
