Funny to watch the big puppy trying to play with the little ones.

The little ones were nursing, so she lays down next to them. Hopefully, they will keep each other occupied for the next 4 weeks.

Momma dog is a hard head. Let everyone else out. She is nursing. Crazy Lady goes to bathroom, momma dog pees in kitchen. I go ballistic. We need to have a meeting of the minds.

In a related note, the momma dog's new OUTSIDE doghouse and puppy brooder should be complete this weekend!

My real dogs still won't stop running away from my rat long enough for the rat to even get close enough to bite their ankles.
Poor little rat wants to play with real dogs so darn bad it's not even funny.

You are kicking the puppies outside already!

Their eyes are open and we are introducing soaked dry food. They are walking (ish). They are frolicking around. With small area and large number of butts, they get soiled rapidly. Did I mention 7 butts + new food = stench? Yes, the dear little ones are going outside in the fresh air. I just scooped the segregated puppy yard.

Remember, these AREN'T mine. They are not my project. Did I mention I'm allergic to dogs?

Adopted, no. Looking for playmates, yes. Way cute. "will you be my friend?" Like Kiki is experiencing, the older dogs are unsure of the new one, but Crazy Lady is playing favorites! Beware! Be very aware!

Up until last week, the borzoi puppy had 5 brothers and sisters to chew on. Now she has her own apartment next to the Crazy Lady. No more puppy piles for food or water. Toys, clean bedding, new things to taste, new places to poop. It's a wide world out there.
